I would have never thought that I would wake up one morning after going to bed in a democratic republic country, and find out I now live in a dictatorship run country. That's what happened though. When a president can in essence fire a CEO of a company tell another company they must merge with a foreign company and then say "my administration will give them 60 day's of operating capital", he has declared himself dictator of America. Since when does anyone in government have the right to tell a private company how to run there business, as far as who there CEO will be and who they must merge with. Yea anti trust laws keep them from merging together some times but nothing I know of says government is allowed to tell them who to merge with. President Obama swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Show me where in the constitution any of this is possible. He should be impeached for failing to uphold the constitution and for in essence trashing it. Many in the house and Senate should be impeached as well they all swore oaths to protect and defend the Constitution, yet many even openly trash it. Barney Frank the other day said he would not want Gay Rights legislation go before the current Supreme Court. He was afraid it would be ruled unconstitutional. He wants to wait tell a more liberal court is setting. Nancy Pelosi wants to allow illegal aliens to live her without fear of deportation. She said something to the effect that deporting them was unconstitutional. Someone please tell me how someone who is not a U.S citizen even has any rights under our Constitution. Have any of those in congress even read it? I hadn't tell about a month ago. Yea we are taught about it in school but not much. Read it and tell me how any thing they are doing or talking about doing is law full.
Someone tell me why I shouldn't go buy a bunch of monopoly games and start paying all my bills with monopoly money? Yea I know its against the law and its not real money, but how is it any different than what our government is doing right now. Hell monopoly money may be worth more. Why should I even pay any of my bills? Congress wants to void written contracts with people at companies who received bail out money. Where is that allowed unless it is by a bankruptcy judge? Someone who knows how needs to sue, impeach to something to stop this madness now. If I knew how I would I am that pissed off right now. I used to just go about my day and not worry about government, but things have gone drastically a stray. There are signs off hope Glen Beck, Fox News, Mark Levin and many others, but I am afraid all may be lost if the current administration and congress continue to act as they have.
Someone tell me I am just crazy and all will be ok. Yea like I would believe them. LOL. I plan on attending a local Tea Party on April 15th and I am drafting letters to congress and president. That and the sights that I belong too like resistance.com and others are all I know to do. Besides reading and educating my self. I encourage others to do the same get involved however you can. It may not be a true dictatorship yet but I am afraid we are not far from that or something similar or worse.

Recent visit to my employer:
Now this is likely to kind of wander a bit, just my feelings on a recent visit to work and how it ties in with current affairs in MHO.
As many of you know I have been of work since late October 2008. Well I have finally been released to return to work with light duty for about 6 weeks. I spoke with my boss two weeks ago and he said he would get back to me. Since I had not heard anything I thought I'd stop by and make sure it was ok to return under those condition. So I stop by HR no real problems there they say they need to talk with my boss which I already knew he was ok with it. Then I go by to talk with him and set up a definite start date and see what shift he wanted me on. I walk up to the break room and see nearly the entire dayshift setting in the lunch room. I think to myself now what, Layoffs again? Turns out someone either backed into or ran over a flap with the tug. At least that's the story I got so far.
Now I bring this up because only a week or two before a was injured in the accident we had a similar stand down safety meeting, (as they call it). For the most part the same things that I heard during this meeting where said during the meeting last October. Now to me the fact we constantly keep having this problems there are only a few solutions/reasons. Either all of us out on the floor are a bunch of incompetent Idiots or our supervision is not getting the message across to us. Well according to the supervisor's in the meeting our work force is one of the best in the business, so to me it must be that they are not getting the right message out. in fact one of them actually spoke to this and said they needed to do a better job.
Ok so now you're asking smartass how would you fix it? Well just listening to upper management list all this data about how many accidents we have had. how many injuries we have had and how they compare to the national average has not worked in the past. So why do they think trotting out the same stuff over and over again is going to do any good this time. If I remember right the definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result". Now the fact they trout out all these facts and figures doesn't bother me so much as when they twist the truth in ways that seem to support their point. One of them said in past ten years there have been 14.000 plus deaths due to aircraft crashes. Ok that is true but I think it is misleading and misguided to leave out the part that until the recent crash near Buffalo there were no deaths in the US due to an aircraft crash in the past two years. Now to me that says that as a whole the aviation industry is improving as far as safety standards go. I heard a man on the news the other day blaming the recent crashes on the fact that air carriers contract out their maintance . And because of this the FAA can't inspect the maintance as often. Ok once again someone twisted the truth to make their point. Yes air careers do contract out maintance but repair stations are inspected regularly by the air carriers FAA reps as well as local reps, In fact they might just be inspected more often because most repair stations have more than on air carrier as a customer.
So how does all this tie into current affairs. Well if the President on members of Congress twist the truth and omit certain things out. How are we the general public to do any different. it kind of seems like now anyone can say whatever they want and as long as it is not an out and out lie it is ok. Take Obama's earmark promises. Under his administration there will be no more earmarks in the bills he signs into law. Now I guess if you add a statement and the bottom of a bill that says there are no earmarks in it then it must be so. I also must assume that if you just have your name removed as being a sponsor of an earmark but not actually remove the earmark then it not an earmark. Kind of like if a tree falls in the woods and know hears it did it really fall? I also heard a congressman come on and say there was only 10 million in earmarks in this bill far less than normal.
So back to my visit and tying all this in. If we have people who represent us, miss leading, telling half or twisted truths, how are we to ever take anything they say seriously? We are told at work to just say stop and everyone will stop what they are doing and ask what you think is unsafe. Yet many times when it is a minor thing you are laughed at. Ok that may not sound so bad if it's a minor thing, so what if no one pays any attrition to you? As long as they do when it is truly serious. Well who gets to decide when its truly serious, and if you are ignored often enough who says you don't just give up all together? Now instead of trotting out all these facts and figures which most out on the floor don't care about or may not fully understand. Why not say look you all know how to get up in the morning clean up get to work. You know what time your breaks are and when the lunch wagon gets here. You know when your check is supposed to be deposited and can figure out if you were paid correctly. Does it not make since that you should know to check your surroundings and to do your job correctly? Quit treating us like a bunch of children we don't need a bunch of facts and figures thrown at us when something goes wrong. Those who through reckless behavior screw something up need to be dealt with accordingly. Now we had a guy who thought that way but from what I heard he was let go. Why, I have not heard.
We have a majority in Washington who try and take care of those who seem to not be able to take care of them self's. They pass laws that will most likely hurt this country in the long run, while twisting the truth and facts to support their opinion. Now we once had a man in Washington who knew enough to tell America that it's up to you to make the most of yourself not the government. He made sure the government stayed out of the way. Now I hear that people who say Reagan was a great man and we should strive to achieve what he accomplished, are told that's not what this country needs. I say that's exactly what we need. The majority of us know how to get up, clean up, feed ourselves. Why is it so hard to do the rest of the stuff for ourselves?

Paying for others mistakes?
Paying for others mistakes? Why should I or anyone else pay for someone else's mistake? I learned a lesson when I was a teenager. I had a paper route in my neighborhood, I took it over from another kid in the neighborhood. he took me with him a couple of days to show me the route. I paied for my bond which was required at time out of the allowance that my parents paid me for house work. Everything was going good the first couple weeks till I went to collect for the first time. Back then and maybe in some places you paied your paperboy/person once a month personally. Not by mail or online but I would ring the door bell and collect cash. I went up to the door of one of the houses I had been delivering to for a couple weeks and asked for the money. I was told " I never ordered the paper and I am not paying for it", I was shocked how could he take the paper for a couple weeks and then not pay for it? I was piised at the man but as I continued on the rest of my route I came to realize that it wasn't his fault I delivered to the wrong address, so why should he pay for my mistake.....
Now I have been renting for quite awhile now for many reasons. Primarily I am in the aviation maintained field and I have been laid off several times. I have moved to three different states while doing this job so it would be crazy for me to purchase a home, when in my opinion, I have no guarantee of a job next week. Also my credit sucks which is my own fault in many ways and also due to being laid off several times. So I would never even have thought about buying a home much less actually qualify for a loan. Or so I thought. Well it seems that many people could buy a home with similar or even worse credit than mine, a much lower income than mine, ect......
I am sure I am not the only one who either played by the rules or knew they were unable to buy a house. And now we are told we will have to bail these other people out. Well I learned this lesson fairly young." I didn't give you the loan to buy the house I didn't tell you to buy a house you could not afford so why should I bail you out?" Very similar to what the guy on my paper route said to me huh? To me that's not even the worst part of the plan. Not only are we bailing these people out, but we are told that by doing so we are going to help those that did play by the rules by keeping housing prices from falling even more. So let me see if I got this right. We are going to give people who can't pay their loan now money to pay for something that they could not afford so the price of the house won't go down. Isn't the problem that they bought more house than they could afford in the first place? How do we know they won't be like the auto makers, and come back in a few months or years and ask for more? I won't even go into the fact that the many of those who are pushing this plan are also the ones who pushed legislation that caused it.....
Maybe some of those now in power should have had a paper route as a kid. Very simple lesson learned at a very young age sticks with you for a lifetime.

My recovery story
Recovery.gov ask us to tell our recovery story.
Here is mine.So far I have lost roughly $600 from my 401K since President's Inauguration. Well over $6,000 since Sept of 2008. I still have a job for now. I guess if I am let go I could get a job as a telemarketer. I seem to being getting several calls a day to help with the mortgage I don't have or the credit cards I don't have. I thought the Federal do not call list was supposed to stop these? I am somewhat confused . How come I saw a house representative on the news yesterday saying there was only 10 billion in earmarks on the house Omnibus Spending Bill? Mr. President are you going to call them on this or is it just Governors, Mayors and Business you are going to call out for fiscal abuse?

Grocery line etiquette
Ok maybe not grocery line etiquette but Wally World etiquette. It starts in the parking lot. Now I don't consider myself handi-caped just temporarily hobbled. However all you need to get a handi-cap sticker or mirror tag is a doctor's note, so I got one. Now if I can find a handi.. spot I will use it, it's easier on me, but if not I just find the closest normal space. I don't know how many times before and since my accident that I have seen someone get out of a car with a sticker or tag and run, literally run, into the store. I mean these people could run a marathon or play profession sport yet they or someone in their family has a tag. If you don't need it save the spot for someone who is actually in need of that closer spot.
So you find a spot to park and make your way into Wally World. Now until recently I had to use one of those electric scooters or a wheel chair. Man I am really glad Wal-Mart provides those. However they should consider buying the wide wheel chairs for those of us who need a wide load sign on our back side. Now again just because you are extremely overweight I don't think you should use that as a reason to ride around on the electric scooters, yet many people do. And just because you're are handi-capped in some way and need one, use some common since and courtesy while driving them. Some people act like they own the whole store and others act as if they had never been on anything motorized their entire live. I mean come on they're not that complicated to figure out.....
So you get your cart and hopefully it rolls smoothly and doesn't sound like a grinding wheel and start to do your shopping. Now why is it that there is always a group of people who just stop right in the middle of the isle and hold a conversation. I understand talking with someone you know but step to the side and stay outa the flow of traffic. And if you have to bring your yard apes with you keep them under control. Contraire to some peoples believe Wally World is not a play ground or jungle gym for your yard apes to play in.....
Now after you get your groceries and make your way to the checkout line is where the real annoyances begin. First off cell phones? I mean what is so damn important that you have this long drawn out conversation in the line? it just annoys everyone around you and slows the whole process down. Secondly, If you go thru the 20 items or less line have 20 or less not 50 plus items. Thirdly show some courtesy to the people behind you if you use a cart buy only a small amount and can carry your bags out take your cart to the door with you. Why should I have to push your cart outa the way just to buy and put my groceries in my cart? Fourthly, Why must some of you wait tell you pay the cashier to start loading your cart with your stuff. Now I used to work in a grocery store as a bagger but Wally World is not that kinda place. Damn it put your own stuff in the cart don't waste my time having the already slow cashier do it for you. Along the same lines why wait tell everything is rung up before you get your money/checkbook/credit card out? You know you have to pay for it some of the women search for several minutes in there purse for something they should have already had out and ready. ....
Now I know the people who most likely will read this are not the problem, but I just needed to vent this evening. However if you know someone who may benefit from this short etiquette lesson feel free to pass it on.....

Letter to RNC Chairman
Mr. Steele:
I was pleased to see you say you would hold those who did not follow true conservative values, to a higher standard so to speak. Even going as far as to look for others to run against them in future elections. I am paraphrasing some what, but after seeing you on Glenn Becks program I was left with the impression you were going to steer the party in a more responsible direction.
Now last night Mr. Beck called several Republican and Democratic house members out for the ear marks they sponsored in the $410 billion Omnibus Spending Bill. (Thank you Mr. Beck). My question to you is what are you going to do about it? I saw one Democratic member on Fox News saying there is only 10 million in earmarks in this bill, far less than normal. I saw someone others including Press Secretary Gibbs saying well that's last years business so it doesn't really matter. Now I am an aircraft inspector, lets say I see something that has been broke for a long time, what do you think would happen if I said well that was broke a long time ago and the plane has been flying around just fine so forget about it? Maybe not the best analogy but I think you can see where I am coming from.
I guess in essence, I want to know are you for real and are you going to come out against those in your and more than likely my party who still continue to waste my and others money? Or are you just someone who the GOP put up to make the party look good because President Obama is the first black man elected to that office? I have never cared about color or sex or religion I just want someone who like Mr. Beck says, " Say what you mean and mean what you Say", not say one thing then do something else? We have more than enough of that in power right now.
Thank you and Good luck
